Webb is a lean-bodied shortstop who displays athleticism and fluidity in his actions. Webb shows quick hands in transfers, with good range to his backhand, and a natural feel for positioning and reaction. With an over-the-top action, Webb shows a plus-arm and carry on his throws across the infield. At the plate, Webb utilizes an open stance, but his quick hips allow him to cut off the inner-half of the plate and show pull-power. Webb's swing is compact, quick to the ball with slight uppercut.
